Your Daily 🌞 / 🌛 Hygiene Routine

Posted by Aarushi Gupta on

In case you don't already have one, it's time to create a daily AM-PM hygiene routine for yourself. So let's take a look at how you can keep yourself and your surroundings pure, healthy and clean, by implementing a day to night hygiene routine.

Morning Hygiene Routine

1.Brush It Up

This one's a no-brainer. Brush your teeth well twice a day, to keep gum problems and plaque away. Do it right after you wake up, and right before you go to sleep. Oral hygiene is of great importance, so don't forget to cleanse your mouth with a mouth freshener.

2.Sweat, Bath & Beauty

Exercise on a regular basis to keep your heart and body happy. And after an intense sweat session, don't forget to take a bath to wash off all the germs and toxins out of your body. And of course, while taking care of your skin and hair, don't forget to maintain the right hygiene standards. Try to keep your skincare and makeup products touch-free, clean your makeup tools, trim your nails regularly, and keep your hair clean.

3.Home Sweet Home

Home hygiene is an integral part of your personal hygiene routine. You cannot thrive well unless you keep your surroundings fresh and healthy. Keep your home free from clutter, dirt, dust and harmful bacteria with daily cleaning.

4.Kitchen Hygiene

Your kitchen has to have the highest level of hygiene standards, to keep your and your family's health in check. Unsanitary conditions in the kitchen can lead to stomach infection, diarrhea, and a whole lot of other diseases. So keep your kitchen neat and clean, and also, don't forget to wash your raw veggies and fruits before consuming them.

Night-Time Hygiene Routine

1.Clean the Mess

Don't go to bed leaving behind a messy home. Clean up the room, tidy up the kitchen, and keep all the scattered books and clothes in their own place. Spray disinfectants in the parts of the house that you feel are highly prone to bacteria and dirt. So when you wake up the next morning, your house will be well-organized and clean.

2.Pamper Yourself

Now that you have cleaned up your house, it's time for some self-care. Remove and wash away all the makeup from your face. Apply a generous amount of moisturizer to heal your skin. This habit makes you feel well-groomed and prevents bacteria buildup on your skin, so you are less likely to develop acne and other skin problems.

3.Fresh Sheets

There's nothing more satisfying than having clean and fresh sheets spread across your bed. Change them every now and then to maintain the highest level of hygiene. This little step not only keeps you healthy but also impacts your mood in a positive way.

4.Beauty Sleep

And finally, have a sound sleep for at least 7-8 hours. Don't let the rush of life take a toll on you. To maintain 'Sleep hygiene', limit screen time before you go to bed, and enjoy better sleep and better health.
